Quick report

One more data point for the PWL concerns. Dug a hasty pit NW at 9300ft, HS 125, ECTX. Structure similar to yesterday's obs in the zone, including the multi-crust sandwich. Basal facets were loose with a bit of rounding and clustering, but definitely what I'd still call facets. Was intrigued to not find any significant faceting on the NYRC in this pit. Mixed bag of surface conditions: wind skin, wind board, cakey, occasional exposed graupel, a smattering still soft, and the hiss of loud pow for just a few turns between about 8500-8800ft.
