Quick report

Quick tour in the Elly/Edelweiss Zone. Dug on a north aspect on the shoulder of Elly at 9200'. Well preserved surface hoar down 11 inches. ECTN8 on Surface Hoar and ECTP26 up 15" from the ground in November Facets.

Significant drifting along ridges although still not too cohesive below 9200 by 2pm upon exiting the field. The 10-12" since January 4th  in sheltered areas is low density and not cohesive.

Minor, localized collapsing on a southwest aspect around 9000'.  Snow intensity and wind picking up around 2pm when leaving. Almost a quarter inch of water has been added to the snowpack at the Milepot 12 study plot since this moring.
