Quick report
Skinned up in the Mammoth Lakes basin and dug a pit at 9,300 feet elevation, North aspect at 2:30pm. We had mostly cloudy skies with filtered sunlight, temperatures were around 50 degree Fahrenheit with light winds. We had 2-3cm ski penetration on our way up, no cracking or collapsing. We had a ct 22 and ECTP 14, failure was 55 cm from snow surface, Q2.
