Quick report

We skied the low-angle trees above Horseshoe Lake. On our tour out there, we experienced Moderate Southwest winds in an Overcast sky. Around 11, it started to clear up slowly until 1:30, when there were Few clouds in the sky and Calm to Light winds. We found 1/2 to 1 inch of Graupel on the ground throughout the tour. It skied really well on the northern aspects. The new snow became wet when the sun came out in the afternoon, everywhere the sun touched.
