Quick report
Day off dog walk:
- Spotted many crowns from size D2-3 slab avalanches.
- These likely failed during rain and warming temperatures 3/24.
- Based on depth of crowns assuming these ran on crusts formed in early March.
- Only viewed from one location on the valley bottom and lighting was variable, I suspect there are many more out there.
- Did not see much evidence of wet loose.

Rained on and off in the valley all morning. Assuming rain to ridgetop as there was no snow in the trees. Breaks of sunshine in the afternoon, though lighting still poor for glassing the alpine.
