Skied East facing slopes on the Summit side of Cameron Lake. As expected, the snow quality was best on lee and shaded aspects and was surprisingly good at times. 5-15cm of storm snow over a melt-freeze crust, not yet bonded, with sluffing noted off of cliff bands near treeline, and significant sluffing while skiing steep, shaded slopes. Crust was light and breakable near ridgetop and supportive near the lake. Snow was more supportive on solar aspects, with a firmer, less breakable crust. Snow became wet, heavy, and sticky in the afternoon even in the shade. Winds were calm to light (SW), increasing in the afternoon with light precip (S-1) on the south end of the lake.
