Flower Couloir

Our plan for the day was to ski the flower couloir and the petal. As we skinned up the approach we notice 2 natural wind slabs in the vicinity of the couloir. One on N and one on NE. The largest one (see picture) looked fresh, maybe from the previous day? The other one was about 20m right of the couloir exit (size 1). We also experienced some shooting cracks on the way up. Considering the few red flags we decided to turn around and ski something less comitting. We skied the road side chutes below the crowfoot glacier and found great untracked powder!
