I would walk 500 miles and I would ski 500 feet to end up at your door

Today we enjoyed a calm and sunny day on Hudson Bay Mountain. We saw one small loose wet avalanche from a steep, rocky, sunny slope in the alpine, but no other avalanche activity. There’s about 10cm of low density snow on top of the crust from last week that remains preserved and skis well. On solar aspects and all aspects below 1200m we saw the snow surface becoming moist with warming, which is something to watch as if this freezes tonight as this could impact skiing/riding conditions.
