Central Duffey

In Central Duffey. Minus 3 at treeline, winds light Minus 3 at treeline. Winds light. W, E and N aspects skied well. SW getting sun so we stayed away. Still some preserved pow in northerly trees even further down to valley. Stuck to lower angle to mitigate buried Pwl hazard Warming cycle in full force though today. Good news is that may mitigate surface hoar danger where it's still preserved and exposed. Bad news is that top snowpack particularly on solar aspects is wetting through and already resulting in pinwheels on S aspects.
