Christmas Couloir/Nicci's Notch

Skied Christmas Couloir and Nicci's Notch. Snow conditions were good overall with about 10-30 cm of fresh snow. Wind was light throughout the day. A soft wind/storm slab was present at higher elevations on multiple aspects (south, north)(see photo). We turned around 30 meters or so from the top of Christmas Couloir due evidence of propagation in the soft slab. A similar soft slab was observed on skiers right in Nicci's Notch.
