Windward slopes are wind affected and hard with ~10cm fresh snow. Lee slopes offered good early season powder <30cm. Good base for the start of the season. 150cm Total snow Foot of soft snow in the trees.

Morning and Early Afternoon we saw little to no wind, later in the afternoon the wind picked up and was blowing from the SW transporting snow from the ridge tops.

Failure at CTM17 down 30cm on old surface hoar and facets 0.5-1mm. Sudden Drop. Failure at ECTM13 Down 30cm on old surface hoar and facets 0.5-1mm. Sudden Drop across entire column. Seen signs of ~10cm wind slab formation on Lee alpine slopes
