Video and 8812

A study of opposites. Video (the line just west of the main) was good, all the way down to Bruin uptrack. Minimal sun crust. Moved over to 8812. Crust every which way. Ski cut east side and found (melt?) crust and returned to the track. Skiied into 8812 bowl on solar/windward face (a rarity) briefly with some thin sun crust until a 1/3 down. Moved into the gut and could not find joy until the treeline. Untracked there was good. No instability observed. Some crust slough. New snow will be a welcome refresh but...
