Spring who?

Still cold! -8/-10 degrees this AM. At TL 2-3cm of HN24, Moderate E-NE ridgetop winds most of the day. March 17th MFcr (2-4cm thick) down 40-50cm, with facceting F-4F+ snow overlying. March 7th MFcr down 100-150cm aspect dependant. Sluffing in steep terrain, no slab reaction when ski cutting small lee convex features but can feel stubborn pockets of old wind slab in some pieces of terrain just below ridgetop. Really excellent skiing down to 700m on North-East aspects. Some brief windows of solar input throughout the day, enough to give Polywood a thin new sun crust by 3pm.
