Quick report
Tour started at 0830 with S3 under obscured skies, precip diminished and abated by the end of our tour at 1330. HS 120cm/HST 60cm at 5200ft on SE aspect. New snow right side up trending from F to 4F. Old snow interface with 1cm ice crust, not reactive in stability tests. Rounding grains beneath ice crust in varying densities 1F-4F, not reactive in stability tests. CT1/ECTN1 in new snow at density change down 30cm. Skied up to mid 30 degree slopes on this aspect comfortably, without signs of instability. Otherwise observed W/NW aspects on our approach to Moonlight with some wind effect on windward aspects near ridgetops, top 10-15cm forming stubborn slabs, minimally reactive in ski cuts.
