Quick report
Went for a clockwise chair peak circumnav. Low and mid elevations - As expected, source lake approach in the trees is harrowing. Shaded/protected terrain currently harbors 2-3cms of weak snow on a crust. Likely the best skiing at the moment is polar protected non -treed aspects harboring loud powder. Alpine - Steep solar aspects are a slide for life risk in addition to harboring frozen debris. Sun tried and failed to adequately soften. Polar aspects possess a variable surface ranging from wind board to a mf crust near rock bands from shedding snow, and a few pockets of good turns. All but the most protected terrain lacks the widespread weak layers of low and mid elevations.
