Quick report
We ascended wing ridge from salt creek summit snowpark. Moderate to light snowfall through the day. On our tour we observed 2 to 4 inches of new snow, we did not observe any windslab formation even near ridges, and very little to no wind transport. Winds were calm throughout the day. There was a very light SW wind on the ridgetop at 3pm. Temps were 32 degrees for most of the day with a high of 35 at 6800’ at 1:30pm and low of 28 at 8300’ at 3pm. Precipitation changed to a rain / snow mix at 6500’ at 3:30pm.
