Quick report

Toured up to summit Sugarloaf peak. Rain till about 7000 feet, then turned to snow. The snow on the ground was saturated to the base and our skis would punch through to the ground at times. The entry/exit requires quite a few transitions from skis to hiking. Conditions changed drastically at 7400 feet where a crust developed, and it started to snow. A stout crust existed from there on up, with 3-5 inches of new snow on top. at 9000 feet things were very wintery - windy, blowing snow, and cold dry snow.

Avalanche

Wet slides on all aspects, including NE @7400 ft. Looks to have run Friday.
