Quick report
We ski cut a couple of small >D1 wind slabs near ridge line on a north aspect at 8000'. Sluff was readily running on steep terrain and entraining snow. Some roller balls and a natural dry loose slid around 3:00pm today. No other signs of instability

A mix of clear and partly cloudy skies today. Winds were light, with moderate gusts out of the west. No snowfall at Ptarmigan today.
Snowpack
Solar aspects have a stout crust that makes avalanches unlikely unless there is significant warming. There's up to 4" of new snow on top of the crust. Sun warming today reduced the depth of new snow. Dust on crust made skinning challenging, and you could go for a long slide if not careful in steep terrain.
North aspects are crust free, all the way down to about 6000'. No signs of instability on the north apart from small pockets of windslab just below the ridgeline and loose dry in terrain over 40º.
Instabilities are isolated to the new snow. The snowpack seems stable.
