Quick report
Lost horse received significant snow and wind overnight. Seemed like around 40cm between noon Tuesday and noon Wednesday. Higher elevation terrain that was exposed saw significant snow transport. I poked around in the snow on the north side of a small saddle at 7100' just north of Bailey lake, and the total snow depth was 390cm, with the upper 95cm of that being one layer of the last few days snow plus last nights wind loading. Down in the trees, away from the wind, stability seemed good, and i ski cut and skied several small steep features.

Saw debris from an avalanche that occurred naturally sometime around 11 am today, in steep terrain SW of Bailey lake, just bellow the ridge line. Class 1. Photo attached. Saw a crown from an earlier avalanche, sometime last night, in the next basin north from bailey lake. Class 1, 20m down from ridge line, under a cornice. Photo attached.
