Tye mill and Grace lakes

Experienced multiple whoomphing collapses on Northerly aspects around 4500ft. Dug snowpits at the top of tye mill chair at 5100 on W and SE aspects, found multiple crust/facet sandwiches down between ~6in to 1ft on both aspects. ECTN on W aspect and ECTP 11 on SE slope approx 12in down. Failed on a weak layer directly below a stout 1in thick crust and propagated with energy. Also traveled in Grace lakes zone between 5000-4200ft and did not experience any collapsing or signs of instability aside from surface sluffing.
