Quick report
It was a cold, clear and calm ride up to Sweetgrass today. We cleared a handful of large trees off the route so the groomer could get through. There were giant drifts on the exposed, SW facing road. Quick hand pits showed a right side up pack without any prominent weaknesses but we noted a skim of wind board in places while riding. Calm winds but we could see snow transport off the McLeod ridge. 90cm snow on top and 18 degrees at noon.
