Quick report
We toured to the top of Triple F/Party Knoll at about 6150’. Snowing hard all day at about an inch an hour. About 50cm storm snow with a resistant but planar shear on suspected SH layer at 35cm in hand test pits. Very little wind effect to where we topped out. Noted some cracking and saw debris from multiple D1 naturals off cliffs. Witnessed a skier trigger a D1.5 in a cliff apron, skiers left chute of Three Way Peak at about 6400’ around 1pm. Carried him ~200’ vertical feet, partially buried, self extracted. Skiing and riding was excellent in lower angle trees.
