Quick report
Toured to the peak of Waterhouse. There seemed to be roughly 5-15cm of new snow on a thick crust from base to summit. Was able to break through the crust with my pole and underneath was some less firm snow for about 5-10cm. Boot penetration was around 5-20cm base to summit. Weather was clear with light wind on the summit, 16F at the car at 0600 and 28F at the car at 1150. Snow seemed very stable, jumped on wind loaded areas and had no reactions. Skied the N face scrapping the crust under the powder only on stiffer turns. Overall good skiing.
