Skied Kendall trees down into gold creek and back. Snowpack felt generally stable with the new snow observed to have come in right-side-up on yesterday’s storm. Pit at 4000ft SE Aspect showed reactivity in the new (24hr) snow but new snow was unconsolidated and shear was non-planar. Was able to get the 1/10 to fail stubbornly (CTE21) with a SC shear characteristic. A party member observed whumphing (also 4000ft SE). I’m hypothesizing this was a failure potentially at Friday night’s intra-storm crust but that’s just a guess…
