Snowpack
Truck traffic has helped pack down snow on the road to the summer trailhead. Sled travel is possible now and should be fairly easy with future snow. There is about 25 cm of snow here, enough to thinly cover the summer trail on flat or shaded terrain.
Shaded:
There is very little snow below 8,000' on shaded slopes. Shaded start zones likely have enough old snow to cover surface roughness above about 8,300'. This goes for peaks around Hyndman and those I could see near Grays, in Cove Ck, and along Mine Bender.
Sunny:
Bare dirt is visible to 9,600' on S aspects (top of the Peanut). A somewhat continuous-looking snowpack starts around 9,400' on the SW face of Cobb.
