Nice tour today, surface hoar noted on early travel In about the 1800m range on N/NE aspects on soft snow. Sunny day with warm temps, the sun packed a punch today and small areas of solar warm/freeze were noted on East slopes. Alpine is of course hammered but the views are outstanding. Severe winds in the alpine. Skiing was actually quite good in trees below 2200m which had been softened. No signs of instability Today.
