Winds and unexpected fresh snow

Unexpected to find +10cm fresh snow in the trees! Great tree skiing but most of it is tracked out from high traffic. We wanted to push for summit on Little A but the wind gusts were extremely powerful, and the wind transport for snow made conditions above tree line unbearable. Plus, the high winds are turning the snow in the alpine into a slab that is becoming styrofoam - no fun to ski.
