Quick Observation

Pulpit knob East face had a small size 1 knock me off my feet. 10m by 10cm storm slan ran fast on a very minute wind crust. Heading in there was 10cm at Hector lake, probably 20+ in the trees on top of 20cm of still very light powder. However around midday a very intense storm flurry filled in our 30cm deep skin track within the hour and created isolated wind slabs out of nowhere. Cutting away these wind slabs left knee deep powder underneath still. Little propagation and no stepping down. Will be touchy out there though for a while.
