Quick Observation

Went up hector south sub peak skied the southern bowl from the ridge. variable snow conditions from sun affected wind affect to surfacehoar n soft powder. Did laps on the east face of the south bowl skied relatively the same. Surface hoar present all the way up into the alpine at 2500m+ going from smaller to larger as we ascended. Signs of an old size 1 slab on a south west feature that didnt run far 10x10m and 10cm thick. Experienced quite a few large whoompfs in the area but no releases or other signs of instability.
