some small (30cm) cracking was noticed when skinning around the lake, powder on the skin track had all blown away in the alpine. significant wind affect, snow depth on a NW slope varied from 03 to 50cm. moderately stiff, yet light crust was easy to punch through, still plenty of fun to ski. some surface hoar was beginning to form.
Snow conditions were: Crusty, Wind affected, Powder. Weather conditions were: Windy, Warm. We rode: Alpine slopes. We avoided: Steep slopes, Convex slopes. Riding quality was good.
