Good riding. No instabilities observes. About 10-15cm of fresh powder sitting on a thick sun crust. As the day got on the powder was getting denser and wetter, some indications of wet loose being possible (pinwheeling). Skinning up steeper sections at points was pretty slippy due to the sun crust.
Snow conditions were: Crusty, Powder. Weather conditions were: Warm. We rode: Mellow slopes. We avoided: Alpine slopes. Riding quality was good.
Avalache Conditions: Rapid temperature rise to near zero degrees or wet surface snow.
Did a CT with results with a SP failure on CTH2 at 100cm depth. No other failures throughout. Layer observations of a slightly taller section of snowpack adjacent to pit: 190-175: Fist 175-165: Ice 165-160: 1F 160-150: Ice 150-80: 1F 80-65: 2F 65-40: 1F 40-0: Fist
