Hard crust 2cm-3cm thick with a 2 to 5 cm cover of frost. Crust is icier on south facing slopes with less shade. Sun didn’t warm up surface much all day but large differences in temperature between sunny aspects and shady areas. Skin track was hard and grippy enough you could walk through the trees at the bottom easier and faster than you could ski it.
