Loose and sketchy

Nice and sunny walk up to the mouse trap with good views and sketchy skiing. We had a picnic at the top of a moraine. Then skied down aiming for the lowest angle we could find while staying on high points and crests. We triggered about 4 small loose slides from the ridge and waited for a group going up the mouse trap to be out of the way to complete the descent. (Please remember that friends don't let friends picnic in the middle of the mouse trap) We saw lots of small loose slides on all aspects below 2000m and a glide crack below the glacier. 10cm surface crust that was breakable and punchy by 10am. That was sitting on moist snow for an entire ski pole length.
