Rummel Lake

Snowshoe up towards Rummel lake with an off path descent. On the way down we had shooting cracks extending about 3m from underfoot in up/downslope directions. Most cracking happened when breaking through the thicker rain crust and extended far into the snowpack. Temperatures rose to about 1-3°C
