East couloir on Paddy peak East skied beautifully. 20-30cm of surface low density snow is largely unaffected by wind. Hard supportive wind surfaces beneath this. Probing with the pole revealed variability within this old wind effect with some isolated hollow feeling areas. Repeatable resistant planar results within the old wind effect in a quick profile around 1450m. The path to the south of the couloir had avalanche debris in the runout which was also covered in 20-30cm low density snow. Broken skies and light northerly winds throughout the day.
