<p>In the Sun Peaks back country we dug a pit at 2060m, north west aspect, 24 degrees. We found buried surface hoar under 45cm new snow (past 3 days). The column broke at 17 ECTs. Snow pack 195cm deep, everything under the hoar layer was rock solid all the way to the ground.</p>
