Saturdays are fer da boys

info.live4therush, Saturday 30th December, 2023 4:50PM
The skies cleared mid day up around Bryant Lake and it got shredded by skiers and sledders all around. We had about 30cm low density storm snow from last storm that was being redistributed by light to moderate west winds up the valley. There was pinwheeling on southerly aspects from rising temps (measured +2.5C mid day @1200m). A loose stepped into a slab on the north aspect of fraser peak containing the recent storm snow. About size 2. It ran to the lake. Sledders were slashing the hell out of the north steep pow and there was nothing moving. Skiers went up the south side of fraser chutes and they didn't have any reactivity either. That storm snow bonded quick I guess. I also met a group today that doesn't carry any avalanche equipment. The winds are now blowing moderate from the south. Good ol' White Pass.
