<p>HS 155 cms at 2100m NW aspect sheltered TL. Early December rain crust down 25 cms. Mid November crust down 70cms. Both crusts approximately 5 cm thick at this location. CT 12 RP at 30cm. Seemed to fail on a very thin layer of ice crystals located just under the December crust. Otherwise no pit results. Snowpack was dense P between the 2 crusts.
Of note was a variable thin windslab in the top 25cms in some wind affected locations above 1900m.
FP 50cm. SP 25cm.
Wx -8 Celsius at 1pm. Light cloud. Wind gusts from the west. Some snow transport at ridges.</p>
