Skiing reached 2350 meters on Mount Field.Supportive crust from valley bottom to about 1900 meters.Breakable crust from 1900 to 2100 meters.Powdery snow from 2100 to 2350 meters.Snow depth over 360 cm at 2350 meters.Snowpack Details at 2350m: 1 to 2 mm melt-freeze crust down 45 cm, non-reactive to ski traffic and compression tests.No wind slab observed at 2350; expected wind slab above. Some wind transport noted off summit ridge.Avalanche Activity: natural avalanche from steep terrain, possibly cornice triggered, size 1.5. Recent storm Size 4 avalanche off Ogden changed river course below takkakaw Falls road bend.Additional Notes: Split boarders appreciated using ski crampons during the ascent.
