Quick report
Our group left out of LTS this morning at 10 am enroute to White Rock. At LTS staging area it was noted to have surface hoar layer and was also seen throughout the whole ride. It was snowing on our group at staging area when we started our ride and then warmed through the day and rained on us at 8000ft by 2pm. Performed a north aspect test slope and was cracking at the weak layer roughly at the 2ft layer, after it was unsupported by a track. Another test performed was a dig on the north aspect at 8000ft near White Rock. Dig test revealed sudden results on compression test although there was no propagation noted. No other signs of instability. Deepest snow seen at White Rock with a depth of 220cm.
