Quick report
Recent mid storm avalanches were noted with a light covering of new snow. There seemed to be a change in density about halfway through the storm, approx 8 inches down in most areas. Intermittent ridgeline winds from calm to about 5-10. Did not see any snow transporting though there were some signs of recent transport and wind affected surfaces near ridgeline. No wind slabs were found. All solar aspects warmed up by mid day before cool air and clouds moved in. North aspect was still riding decent, though solar aspects were thick and heavy.
Avalanche
Small D0.5 storm slab broke and propagated about 15-20 feet across on a steep and unsupported slope at or above 40 degrees. Bed surface appeared to be a mid storm layer and crown was only about 8 inches. North aspect. Nearby slopes at similar and steeper angles did not reliably release
