Quick report

We toured toward true Gash Point and skied a couple of runs down to Sweathouse Creek. Did not dig a pit but observed no signs of instability. About 12" of light, dry powder on top of a solid base. The "Sweathouse Bowl" was great skiing, at steepness up to 32-35 degrees, all the way down to 5800 ft. Snow was shoulder-deep toward the top, per a ski pole estimate. Good coverage on the tricky ski back to the lower Gash trailhead, with only a few rocks to avoid.
