Quick report
In test pits, propagation was found in extended column tests, failing either on various crusts or just above the ground on a layer of mostly rounded depth hoar. There were 8 inches (20cm) of new snow in the last 24 hours. In the afternoon, the new snow became wet and heavy on solar aspects but remained dry in sheltered areas.

Snowpack
For the first time since January 21, the snowpack froze and became supportive. I could easily walk around in my boots without breaking through the stout rain crust. The bottom third of the snowpack remains unfrozen/unconsolidated and is a mix of rounding weak layers and crusts.
Avalanche
Small point realize avalanches.
