Quick report

Rollerballs didn't proceed wet slides. Beautiful sunny day, so was expected to see some slides in the new 5" of snow. We turned around at 6700' as the snow conditions worsened for crampons.

Avalanche

15 or so wet avalanches with only 3 greater than D0.5 at D1, ocrruing between noon and 2pm. Above Blum lakes on the SW to WSW slope between 6300' and 7200' They occurred naturally as we witnessed. No one caught, width was between 6 and 20 feet. Average depth of debris pile maybe 1 foot. Just picked up the top 5 new inches of snow and ran on the rain crust. Overlapping larger debris fields that probably ran over the weekend
