Quick report
Late afternoon/evening bulletproof snow. Good coverage up high (recent AR destroyed down low, Govy elevation, incl comparison pic of Summit Ski area base from Saturday, pre-AR). Needed ski crampons from slightly above Silcox up to Palmer, as NWAC forecasted (thx). Observed very icy skiing of another on skiers left run so opted to leverage recent snowmobile and cat tracks chop for easier going on descent). Rocks existed esp below silcox, but easy to avoid even by headlamp. Darn you, El Nino, have mercy!
