Quick report
We observed evidence of a recent natural avalanche cycle in the alpine associated with strong winds. Most avalanche activity likely occurred during the 1/6–1/8 period. Exposed alpine terrain is largely scoured and covered in wind board, with soft, unconsolidated snow confined to sheltered features. There appears to be limited snow currently available for wind transport.

All of the avalanches were wind-influenced in the alpine. Many of the crowns were 1-3' thick except for the Old Hyndman slide, which likely gained mass from snow entrained from the very steep slopes above. The avalanches that had W, NW likely failed with southerly winds from 1/6-1/7 time frame and the eastern slopes within the last 24 hours.
