Quick report
We tried to go skiing today. We snowmobiled out the little Wenatchee with chainsaws and skis. All of the large trees along the first part of the road have been taken care of. Thank you to whoever did that! Once of off of the main road and on our way to the Minotaur trailhead we encountered many more fallen trees. Some we could go over, some under and we cut away 2 that fully blocked our path. We abandoned the cause while still miles from the trailhead. There were tracks continuing on ahead of us so potentially it goes if you’re a better sledder than us. Another foot or two of snow though and I think it’ll be passable. Snow quality above the valley floor was quite good and increasing exponentially in depth with altitude. The sun came out for about 30 minutes and there were quite a few tree bombs Coverage looks great from about 4k up.
