Quick report
A strong inversion was the main story this morning, with telemetry recording a 14 degree (F) difference between the valley floor (14 F) and the summit of Denny Mountain (30 F) at 0800. Small (<1 cm) surface hoar was present preserved in open meadows and larger (~5 cm) surface hoar feathers were observed near open water sources. Skiing conditions were marginal at best.
