Quick Observation

Trip report from Mar 12-16,2017.

Avalanche Information

Ski cut on 1st run of the day. Size of slide is estimated as I could not see the entire crown due to poor visability/heavy snowfall. Next run cut ski cut a size 1 on the same layer,same elevation at the top of the tree triangle below hut.

Weather

Snowed the entire trip up to S5 and mixed rain/snow at times in the PM. Strong winds at ridge top and Calm to Moderate below ridgetop.

Snowpack

From Mar 12-16 I oberserved Easy SC results at HN interface and Mod RP results within the HST. At least 100cm fell while on the trip.
