It is hard to even comprehend this weather. First, 10 of the previous 14 days up until yesterday were 52-year record high temperatures. Then after sweep time it started to- rain. It rarely rains in November and never before has in December but i stood out there for 10 minutes making sure it was rain (i know- no sense to come out of the rain). Total was 0.02" before, off and on, turning to sleet and then snow. For the day there was just 1½" of snow with 0.34" of water- it basically snowed slush. Snowpack sits at 11½" with nothing overnight. The high was 39F (the lowest in 6 days) and today's low is currently 22. No wind with little wind is all of this except occasional gusts. Snowpack in Gothic is rotten. There is no explanation to all this unless i slept through the winter and it is late April now. billy.
